Welcome to the monthly meeting for Java Developers in the Tulsa area.

This month we are lucky to have two presenters on NoSQL!   Darren Gibson will introduce us to Neo4j.   Blixa Morgan  will present on CouchDB.   Each of these is a well known NoSQL repository that could prove useful for storing things in.

Thank you to everyone who attended in May and I look forward to seeing as many of you as can make it in June.  - Meeting Details and directions are after the following announcement:

Update:  We recorded a livestream youtube event last night.  Its pretty amateurish but should work.

I was asked to pass on a message from one of our other Tulsa area groups:

Just wanted to let you know Techlahoma/Tulsa Web Devs are hosting our next 200 OK conference on June 3rd:

http://200ok.us/

There are quite a few talks that are language-agnostic (continuous delivery, security, accessibility, etc.), so I bet some of the Tulsa Java community would be interested. Can you tell everyone about it?

We've got 6 early-bird tickets left, and then the price goes up for regular tickets on Saturday.

Welcome to the monthly meeting for Java Developers in the Tulsa area.  Our meeting this month is on February 10th at 6PM.   For February Darren has graciously agreed to do part 2 of the talk about something he's quite knowledgeable about - Docker.   For those that aren't aware Docker is a popular lightweight container infrastructure.   Think a extremely lightweight virtual machine.   It makes packaging your application with just the necessary dependencies a breeze.   Darren has presented on this before but with all the new members he was called upon for an Encore.

Thank you to everyone who attended in January and I look forward to seeing as many of you as can make it in January.
